THERE ARE 33 DEGREES of membership within the Darwintern, according to the Protocols of the Elders of Darwin. They appear to be derived, in part, from the earlier (and some say, apocryphal) Ancient Order of the Brotherhood in Pondscum.

The precise hierarchy is a closely-guarded secret, but a small number of the Degrees are known, at least by name.  For example, the First Degree, Poopy Head, is the rank assigned to raw recruits into the Conspiracy who have not yet completed basic training at Bowl Camp.

At the other extreme, the 33rd Degree is that of Grand Master, of which there can only be one at any given time. 

Much speculation surrounds the intervening degrees -- their titles, rites of initiation, insignia and other regalia.
